Founded by Carter Warner, Back Nine Leather was built from a lifelong love of the game.

After spending over 20 years playing baseball, including 5 years at the collegiate level, the connection to the game never left. 

​

From a young age, there was always something different about gloves. The feel, the wear, the stories they carried. 

Over the years, that appreciation turned into a collection, with over a dozen gloves held onto long after their last inning. 

​

During college, a new passion took shape for Carter. Golf. 

​

When the baseball chapter came to a close, there was a desire to bring those two worlds together, to carry the game forward in a new way. 

​

Back Nine Leather was the result. Every piece is 100% handcrafted AND handstitched. No machines. No shortcuts. 

​

Each putter cover is made from repurposed baseball gloves, preserving their character, history, and imperfections that makes them truly one of a kind. 

​

The goal is simple: To give old gloves a second life without losing what made them special in the first place.
